Is
There a Panic Attack
Cure?
The
big...ok HUGE...question
on most everyone's mind is whether or not there's a panic attack cure
or if anxiety and panic is something that will simply have to be
"managed" or "coped with".
I
don't know about you, but when I was still struggling with panic
attacks, the thought of living my life out in that condition was TERRIFYING.
I think that may have been my ultimate fear, that I was
doomed to a life of constant battle with anxiety and that a panic
attack cure didn't exist. I'd be lying if I said I never just
said down and cried at the thought of it.
The
answer to the question is yes...and no. First, we need to be
sure we're talking the same language...
The
word "cure" bothers me a bit. I mean, I know what you're
talking about, is there an END to panic attacks, but "cure" is the
wrong word. See, "cure" implies there's something WRONG with
you,
a disease or sickness of some sort, and that just simply isn't the
case.
You're NOT
sick, weird, diseased, or crazy for having panic attacks or anxiety.
I know it FEELS
like you are, but feelings lie all the time.
A
panic attack cure can never really exist because there's nothing to be
cured from. A panic attack isn't a THING...it's not like you
stepped on a nail and it has to be yanked out of your foot to be
"cured". Your panic attacks aren't a THING you need to rid
yourself from, they're a REACTION that you've gotten into the bad habit
of choosing so often it's become almost instinctual. So don't
let it scare you when I say that there isn't a panic attack cure...you
don't need one.
What
you need is a different reaction.
Now
if you ask me if your panic attacks can end...then the answer is a big
loud YES!
Some
anxiety as we go through life is normal and expected...I mean the only
way to not have ANY anxiety or stress is to live tucked away in a room
in the attic or something, and who wants that? So don't
strive to have NO ANXIETY in your life...you want...you NEED...some
anxiety. It's a sure sign that you're stretching and growing
as a person. It's a good thing in the right amounts.
But
that normal anxiety doesn't have to grow into PROBLEMATIC anxiety, and
it sure the heck doesn't need to turn into PANIC ATTACKS.
I've had hundreds...probably thousands of panic attacks, but
I don't anymore. Why? That's a lot to explain, and
why I put together the Panic Puzzle Program, but to get a really good
look at what I think you need to know, check out the free Anxiety Code
report I have by clicking here.
So
am
I "cured" from panic attacks? I don't struggle with them,
they don't hold me back, and they don't rule my life anymore. They're
over, done,
and if that's a panic attack cure, I'll take it.
